Memory of Forgotten War is a documentary inspired by the Still Present Pasts exhibit. A one-hour documentary aimed for broadcast on public television, it will focus on the dramatic stories of five-seven Korean War survivors whose experiences and memories embrace the full circle of the war - its outbreak and the day-to-day struggle for survival, the aftermath of a devastated, ideology-riven Korean peninsula, immigration to the U.S. as a legacy of the war, life as war survivors in the U.S., and eventual reunion with lost relatives in North Korea. The film is currently in development.
